Power Park
Based on my own time as a Cast Member in Walt Disney World, "Theme Park Workers" follows a group of young adults working food service at a theme park.
The relatively mundane work in such a high-octane environment lends itself to some crazy antics and more than enough relationships to sustain a fun sitcom. While the series has taken a seat on the back-burner for now, I'm excited to revisit it and flesh it out even further down the line.
Hash
For my TV Program Development course, I worked with my friend and frequent collaborator Lawson Smead to develop a pitch deck for a show based loosely on the story of the Silk Road, a dark web drug trading website that was busted in 2014.
While Hash is a much looser interpretation of the idea of the story, it’s still a gripping and intense drama following two friends who fall down the rabbit hole of the dark web and feel the pressures of money, power, and drugs tear them apart while being on the run from the FBI.
I’m Gonna be an olympian
This script was the first of four episodes I wrote as a project for my Writing the Web Series class.
The series follows Liam, a college dropout living at home with his mom in his "training" for the US Olympic Table Tennis team - except he's the least athletic person you know.
The Adventures of Zombie Bob and his ghost
As the final project for my base TV Writing course, I wrote the pilot for an animated children's show, "The Adventures of Zombie Bob and His Ghost".
While looking back on it there's certainly a lot I'd change about it, it's still an idea I adore and I sincerely hope I get the opportunity to revisit the concept in the future. There's a whole world there I'd love to flesh out and explore beyond the pilot, so hopefully I get the opportunity to take it off the shelf soon.
